This year, InterStellar Group sponsored the professional boxing debut of Russian athlete Maxim. Standing at 182 cm, with a reach of 185 cm and weighing 79 kg, Maxim has been practising boxing since childhood. He was the runner-up in the St. Petersburg Junior Boxing Championship and has won numerous exchange and amateur competitions. Maxim harbours a dream of boxing, aiming first to win an intercontinental belt and then to make his mark on the international stage. Boxing, as a high-intensity sport, requires not only excellent technique but also outstanding physical conditioning. Due to the stringent competition system, athletes must constantly strive; falling behind means losing qualification. Therefore, training for boxing matches is crucial, requiring not only a strong physique and quick reflexes but also patience, perseverance, and a resilient will to face challenges. Hosted by Power Drift Club Cyprus, the 2024 season of drifting competitions kicked off on 9th March. Before the season started, an exciting event took place - the awarding of the 2023 championship trophies. Sponsored by InterStellar Group and competing in the PDC's professional level for the first time in 2023, Simos Tikis took home the overall champion title. Driving his BMW E30, Simos charged ahead on the track and, after a season of hard work, ultimately reached the pinnacle of victory. The PDC season runs from March to October, spanning seven months through spring, summer, and autumn, posing a significant endurance test for the competitors, who must also maintain top form under varying weather conditions. The event on 19th March 2023 took place during heavy rain, with poor visibility and slippery roads putting the drivers' drifting skills to the test and significantly raising the level of suspense in the competition. Simos Tikis took the lead in the first event with 116 points and continued to perform exceptionally in every race. After a series of intense competitions, he won the professional category championship with a total of 635 points, a hard-earned achievement. As the 2024 PDC season kicks off, InterStellar Group proudly announces its exclusive sponsorship of Simos Tikis. In the competition's opening round, Tikis impressed with a score of 83.5, clinching the eighth position thanks to his remarkable entry speed of 110 km/h — the second fastest of the round. On April 14th, during the second event, he achieved an admirable 5th place in the initial round, followed by a 6th place finish.
